How to reupholster back rest on bar stool. Doesn't come apart. Seat done, looks great.?
Have 10" high bar to recover on chairs. There are cap-like covers that seem to do nothing on the wood part of the chair holding the back rest. Seems like fabric now on it is stitched at the underside but how do I get it tight into the sides? The seat came apart fine with screws but there is no way to pull apart the top. Any ideas?

1) remover the seat you already reupholstered, and what you can do it cover the back rest with fabric (over the existing fabric), pull it tightly and using a staple gun, staple it to the wood on the back.

The cap like covers on the back may pop off ...it would pay to take a look, they might be covering screws to remove the back...
